Whether you were a dance or drill team member, part of the Pep Squad, Majorettes, Starlighters, or Coyettes—you are part of our history.

Our story dates back to the 1950s, with the team becoming known as the Coyettes in the early 2000s. While Anna ISD did not have a consistent drill team for many years, those challenges helped shape the resilience that defines the program today. After a 10-year break, the drill team was reestablished in 2022.

We are now completing our fourth year as the Anna High School Coyettes Drill Team. In this time, we have built traditions, strengthened bonds, given back to our community, and have grown our technical skills. This year, we also introduced a new Performance Team, creating more opportunities for students to get involved and develop their dance skills.

Our current team invites all alumni to begin gathering photos, videos, and memorabilia for a special event planned for late spring 2026—more details coming soon!
